Dress Down and Donut Day 10/26

Greetings from Washington Global! Wednesday, October 26 will be Dress Down Day at Washington Global. Additionally, students who arrive before 8:15am can munch down on donuts. Be timely!

Featured Class – 7.4 Math: Integers in the Real-World

Each week, Washington Global will highlight one class, or cohort. The goal is to give you (families) the opportunity to see a snapshot of what is going on at Washington Global. We encourage you to talk to your child about what they’re learning!

7.4. had a great week in Ms. Browns’ Math Class! The students have been grappling with the concept of adding and subtracting positive and negative numbers. The students have been able to identify situations in which negative numbers would be appropriate, as well as calculating real-life scenarios with integers. Next week, the students will continue to develop fluency in this skill, while reviewing ratios and proportions for the upcoming ANET assessment.

The event features sports clinics facilitated by The First Tee (golf), Washington Warriors DC Youth Rugby, Winners Lacrosse, and the Washington National’s Youth Baseball Academy. Complimentary snacks and refreshments will be served.
